Groups <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGroups and subgroups\u201d, \u201csubcategories to categories\u201d, and \u201ctree structure\u201d \u2014 as soon as those who were waiting for it did not call this function. The sorting of goods by groups and subgroups has appeared in AinurPOS. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For example, if you have a tea shop, then divide the assortment into \u201ctea\u201d, \u201ccoffee\u201d, and \u201csweets». And the group \u201cTea\u201d, is divided into \u201cblack\u201d, \u201cgreen», \u201cmate», and \u201crooibos». etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

      Create the group<\/strong>. <\/strong>In the Android application \u2014 open the list of products, click on the \u201c+\u201d button, select \u201cgroup\u201d, and enter the name of the group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Important details<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The first rule<\/strong>: in the AinurPOS application, where you create a group, it will appear there. If you are in the \u201cTea\u201d group and create the \u201cCoffee Pots\u201d group, then \u201cCoffee Pots\u201d will now become a subgroup in the \u201cTea\u201d group. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The second rule<\/strong>: if you delete a group, then not only the subgroups and products within this group will be deleted, but also the entire structure. You can then restore the deleted items from the basket, but they will no longer be sorted into subgroups. The product will be restored to the general list. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      <\/a>Categories<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      If everything is clear with product groups: they are needed to structure your assortment, then how to use categories? What are they for?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      How to create, edit, and <\/strong>delete<\/strong> the categories<\/strong>?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Do you want to assign a category to one product? Open the product editing, and enter the name in the category field. Save it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Do you want to assign a category to a group of products?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      In the web version<\/em><\/strong>. Select the products that you want to assign a category\u00a0to,\u00a0go to the \u201cBulk action\u201d window, and select the \u201cCategories» line. Type the name of the category, click \u201cCreate a new category\u201d, then — \u201cApply». Ready!       How to use categories<\/strong>?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      What are categories for, if the assortment is already sorted in groups? Wait a minute! There are at least three ways to use them:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. To filter the products. <\/strong><\/strong>A category is, roughly speaking, a tag with which you mark certain products. You can create a category \u201cSell as soon as possible» and make such a selection. You can create a selection by the supplier by marking the products with the appropriate category. How can this be useful? Mark a new collection, for example. Or make a selection for a specific supplier.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. To sell faster and easier. <\/strong><\/strong>In cash register applications, AinurPOS \u2014 displays goods only by category. In the online storefront, products are also sorted and displayed by category.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. To track sales by one or another attribute<\/strong>. <\/strong>Let’s say you have combined products from one supplier into one category. And about the same products, but from another supplier \u2014 to another. And now, in order to track whose products are going with a bang, all you need is to generate a report by category.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        What difference between groups and categories<\/strong>?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Roughly speaking, categories are like hashtags, they can mark a product. Whether by a single supplier, by attribute, or whatever. And the same product can belong to several categories. And groups are kind. It is impossible to belong to several types at the same time and the product also cannot be in the \u201cCoffee\u201d group and in the \u201cTea\u201d group at the same time. Either-or.
